Well I got a lot done on Monday. I wasn't supposed to be off, but we wound up taking our 14 1/2 yr old dog Bandit on the "big car ride" to the vet. So I have now decided this will be Bandit's memorial garden.
I put in some more plants - 2 calla lillies, an orange bird of paradise, and some smaller colorful plants. I also put in the garden stones. What do ya think????

I'm sorry to hear about your dog! The garden is really looking good. I love the stones. At this rate, you'll have a bunch of beds done before the end. Great job!
Thanks guys. Bandit was my first child, you know, after you get married you get a pet as a "trial child". I gave him to Scot on Valentines Day 1994 - he was 2 months old. He's been by my side (literally, he was a mamma's boy) ever since. He was my roommate when Scot was on shifts with the State Police, or out of the country with the Air Force. He loved the kids and looked after them as if they were his own. He is very missed.....but I could go on and on (you can read all about it on my myspace blog.
